Summer of art and music launched at Roof Garden

HammersmithLondon launched the ‘Up On the Roof’ showcase on July 21st, transforming the HammersmithLondon Roof Garden this summer with FREE live music and an art exhibition.

Throughout July and August, HammersmithLondon displayed work from up-and-coming artist Prinul Patel?s new collection 'Reflections'. Borough resident and BBC presenter Jeremy Vine, who popped in to support the exhibition, said: ‘This is an amazing place for Londoners to avoid the hubbub of the city. I love coming down to The Lyric as it is round the corner from where I live and it is great to see this space being used in the summer months while the theatre is out of action. This is a stunning exhibition and I hope this will provide other artists with the platform to display their work.’

‘Up On the Roof’ also featured live music performed every Wednesday on the Roof Garden between 6pm and 8pm. Arun Sondhi, executive director of HammersmithLondon said: "This is a perfect way to showcase our beautiful area and remind visitors that West London is a centre for creativity and enterprise."
