Diagnostic work has recently been completed on improving the service and reliability of the HammersmithLondon Officenet radio system. The system is invaluable in providing communications to offices in the Hammersmith commercial sector and can be used to receive and broadcast emergency information about any and all incidents. With the recent heavy snowfall, updates and information about the effects on the area can be given out via Officenet and the service can provide valuable backup to security staff working out of hours.
Recently Lee Egan from the Counter Terrorism and Security office have recently joined the system and now conduct a frequent listening watch on the channel between office hours of 0800 to 1800 hrs. They recently stated âWe believe that being readily available to give advice and support to businesses or to intervene during an incident witnessed or reported by a business on the borough, we have the ability to speed up any process or clear up any query, if available to do so at the timeâ. HammersmithLondon are very pleased to have Lee and his department on board and hope that the system will be regarded as essential in tackling crime and dealing with emergency incidents among the Hammersmith commercial sector.
