Hammersmith & City and Circle lines Closures

Tube passengers who rely on the Hammersmith and City and Circle lines are facing three weeks of continuous closures as the construction of Crossrail gets under way.

No trains will run between Hammersmith and Edgware Road from Saturday, July 24 to Sunday, August 15, while London Underground demolishes a disused taxi ramp and canopy at Paddington station close to tracks on which trains from the two lines run.

Essential work and upgrades which would otherwise have required weekend closures will be carried out at the same time, according to Transport for London.
