Proposed Bus Service Changes during London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Important Update from the Olympic and Paralympic Route Network (ORN/PRN)
Transport will be integral to the success of the 2012 Games. As well as ensuring athletes, key officials and thousands of spectators get to their events on time, we also need to keep London moving.
The comprehensive London Bus network will be maintained and enhanced next summer to cater for the anticipated demand. There will also be some diversions and bus stop changes, in response to temporary road changes that are needed to help make the Games a success.
These traffic management changes, including those on the Olympic Route Network/Paralympic Route Network and turning restrictions. The changes will be in place for the minimum time possible but, where diversions are needed as a result, we have worked hard to minimise disruption to passengers and local communities. Nevertheless, there will be changes for passengers and some stops that are not able to be served.
Full details of planned changes across London are available from tfl.gov.uk/gamestravel or visit our London Olympics 2012 section for further information on how the Games will personally affect your travel in the area that you live or work in..
