Another Free School?

Recents announcements follow the submission of an application for a third free school in LB Hammersmith & Fulham.

The news means that the proposed third free school "Fulham Boys' School" would be joining the ARK Conway and the West London Free School already set up in the borough. Supporters of the Free School remain optimistic that the school will open up for year 7 puils in September 2013.

The application in question was submitted last year, and has since undergone some recent revisions which have now been completed.

Fulham MP Greg Hands told the Fulham Chronicle: “I was elected MP for Fulham in 2005 on a platform of creating more secondary school choice, and I have given this proposal for a new Fulham Boys School my wholehearted support.”
